Audio, notes and photos
Recordings, imported audio copies, notes, chosen photos and collections are stored in the app’s on-device library. There is no account, application content-upload service or automatic cloud sync. Microphone access is requested when you choose to start recording. Import and photo selection use system pickers; the app does not scan your whole media library or use the camera.
Core processing stays on device. Calls and other interruptions may pause recording. Android recording notifications provide background controls; iPhone uses background audio support for a user-started session.
Copies you choose to save
A separate clip can be exported as WAV audio or a ZIP with note text and source times. Photo attachments are not included in the ZIP. You choose the destination through your operating system. A destination may be a cloud provider, and its own handling applies to that copy.
Password-encrypted backups
Library backups include completed audio, clips, notes, photos, collections and pause history. Device credentials, preferences, pending imports and unfinished recordings are excluded. Your password encrypts and unlocks the archive on device; Notivox does not keep it and cannot recover it. Restore checks the archive before preview and confirmation. Identical items are skipped and conflicting IDs are rejected.
Device lock and preferences
Optional device lock uses the phone’s own authentication. Notivox receives an authentication result, not your biometric templates. App lock protects access through the app; it is not separate encryption of the library files. Onboarding, lock and privacy choices are stored locally.
Analytics, advertising and purchases
Usage analytics is disabled in the current app and website configuration. No usage events are sent. Ads and in-app purchases are inactive, and their native SDKs are excluded from the current app’s dependency graph. There are no configured ad placements, products or prices. Any future activation requires updated disclosures and applicable choices.
This website
The site uses first-party images and system fonts, with no contact form, mailing list, advertising scripts or remote font requests. Cloudflare hosts this website and processes connection and request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the pages. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its practices. Disabled website analytics does not eliminate ordinary hosting logs.
Your choices and copies
You control microphone access in device settings and select the files or photos you import. Keep separate backups of important recordings. Removing the app or its data can remove the local library. Files already saved to another destination remain under your control there; changing a setting in Notivox does not remove those copies.
